Garage-Turned-ADU

BOXI partnered with Los Angeles-based Otto ADU to help transform a two-car garage in Silverlake for the homeowner’s evolving needs. With a small footprint and placement near a pool, it was a design challenge to create a flexible, light-filled guest suite. They also hoped to preserve its charming original terracotta roof. BOXI’s Salt Slab cabinets fit a compact, clean layout that doesn’t compromise on storage, while floating shelves and an undercounter refrigerator were helpful space-savers.
